There is so much beauty here! I love taking maternity pictures. One of my favorite things to photograph is motherhood! Motherhood is so sacred, exciting, scary, beautiful, fulfilling....I'm so thankful for the opportunities I have in capturing these moments!

HDR Composites

So this is one of my first HDR composites. Some photographers at the recent conference I attended were selling some HDR templates, but I wanted to create my own. I wanted to do the whole process. I'm stubborn that way. I don't like to use others hard work. I had fun with this one. Still some refining to do, but I'm so proud of myself for doing it all from scratch. The tires and background are things from around our ranch that I threw together to get this picture. I also removed the "destination A/T" from the tire and put "country boy" on it. All in all it was a fun, new thing to do. I love to learn new things and challenge myself. I happened to take a picture of this little boy sitting on a stool on a bridge in the nice sunshine. I extracted him from that (no white or green screen behind him).

Night shots

This screech owl resides in our trees on our farm. It was sitting on a branch in our tree when we heard it. I ran inside to grab my camera, 70-200 lense and my flash. I adjusted some settings manually and knew I would not have the opportunity to adjust the settings after I snapped a couple of pics. I got 3 total. The backside of the owl, this one and one of him flying off the branch into the night! Fun shots! I don't just photograph people, but nature, animals, etc... This world is beautiful. That's why I carry my camera with me 24/7. :-)
